How the gross amount is estimated
For employees and casual workers, full monthly remuneration or a six-month variable-pay average is subject to a separate constitutional reference, not the RGPS contribution ceiling. Domestic employees use their last contribution salary or variable-pay average between the minimum and RGPS ceiling. Individual, voluntary, unemployed and optionally contributing special insured people divide selected contribution salary bases by 12, even with few records. Special insured people without optional contributions use the minimum. The MEI DAS payment is not a salary base.
Benefit value is not leave or approval
The standard periods are 120 days for childbirth, adoption/custody and stillbirth, and 14 days for legally permitted abortion with medical recognition. Projection is constant monthly value 脳 days 梅 30. It excludes the 13th salary, net pay, installments, hospitalization extensions exceeding two weeks, Empresa Cidad茫 and other exceptions. The current contribution waiting-period exemption does not waive insured status; one contribution does not establish entitlement. Multiple jobs, corrected historical bases and changes in 2027 need official review.

Frequently asked questions
How does the category change the amount?
Employees and casual workers use remuneration with a distinct constitutional reference; domestic workers have an RGPS ceiling; contributors divide salary bases by 12; special insured people without optional contributions use the minimum.
What about variable pay?
Enter six complete remuneration amounts for employee, casual or domestic categories. If the history is shorter or pay components uncertain, ask payroll; missing months are not assumed.
What if there are fewer than twelve contributions?
The sum of selected bases is still divided by 12. Record count does not determine entitlement; the selection and CNIS records require confirmation.
Can I enter my MEI DAS payment?
No. Enter potentially recognized contribution salary bases, not the DAS payment. One contribution does not prove insured status or entitlement.
Is there still a ten-contribution waiting period?
Current INSS guidance exempts qualifying requests under IN 188/2025, including those since 2024-04-05 in the specified cases; insured status and other requirements still need review.
Why might INSS calculate another amount?
CNIS records, eligible pay components, historical ceilings, salary adjustments and concurrent jobs can change the basis; this tool cannot verify them.
How long is the standard period?
120 days for the usual events, or 14 days for legally permitted abortion with medical recognition. Extended hospitalization and other extensions are excluded.
Does the projection include 13th salary?
No. It is only gross monthly estimate multiplied by 30-day equivalents, excluding 13th salary, deductions and the official payment schedule.
