About the PIS/PASEP validator
The PIS/PASEP validator checks whether an 11-digit PIS, PASEP, NIS, or NIT-like value is internally consistent with a public modulo-11 check-digit convention. It is not an official registry, benefits, balance, or account lookup.
How to validate PIS/PASEP/NIS safely
Type or paste one identifier, review the status, expected check digit, and checklist, then copy the normalized or formatted value if needed. Use the result only as a typing aid before checking official channels when official status matters.
